I was a complete newbie when I got my Savage last Sept. (1500 miles since then) so I cant compare some of those things with other bikes, but I sure have had fun on it. It does backfire occasionally but so what. Its light, quick, always starts and has been a real stress reliever for me. By the way Im 46 and in Wisconsin, so waiting for warm weather yet.
